This Ragu is a speciality of Tuscany made with simple and traditional ingredients. This is also a great Ragu since to have just on a normal pasta dish or you can use it to make traditional Italian dishes like lasagne.
Use this sauce to make an excellent Lasagna. You will need at least two jars of the sauce. Put in a sauce pan the Porcini Mushroom Ragu and the besciamella sauce and cook it for 15 minutes. On another sauce pan boil the lasagne layers. Then start the process of building the lasagne dish by spreading the sauce at the bottom of the dish and cover with a layer of lasagna pasta. Spread some more sauce on top, and some mozzarella and parmesan, then top with another layer of lasagna. Repeat the process with as many layers of lasagna as you want. When you have finished, cover the lasagna with a generous helping of parmesan to give that crispy finish. Cook the dish for 30 minutes at 180 degrees and enjoy!
Tip: We also recommend using this Ragu with pasta such as fettucine or papardelle.
